Mission & Vision

Go therefore and make disciples...

Our Vision for 2026 — The Year of Putting God First

Our vision for 2026 is rooted in structure, discipleship, and faithful consistency. As God continues to grow this ministry, our aim is not simply to reach more people—but to steward that growth with clarity, order, and purpose.

2026 is intentionally framed as The Year of Putting God First—aligning our lives, families, and nation under God’s authority in practical, visible ways.
At the core of our 2026 vision is a monthly discipleship framework that guides teaching, outreach, and community focus throughout the entire year. Each month carries a clear biblical emphasis designed to strengthen individuals, families, and our nation under God.

2026 Monthly Ministry Themes

Each month in 2026 carries both a biblical focus and, where applicable, a gathering or milestone that brings the theme to life through worship, fellowship, and community.

January - New Year & Biblical Foundations: Aligning our lives, homes, and nation under God’s authority.

February – Preparing Our Hearts for Lent: Moving from active faith into repentance and reflection.

March – Lent. Repentance & Renewal: Turning hearts back to God and preparing for the Cross.

April – Easter & Resurrection Life: Celebrating Christ’s victory and walking in new life.

✝️ Resurrection Sunday — April 5, 2026
A central celebration of Christ’s resurrection and the hope we have in Him. Additional activities will take place during the two weeks leading up to Resurrection Sunday, creating opportunities for worship, preparation, fellowship, and reflection.
For accommodations, we encourage guests to contact Thunder Canyon Campground, as lodging has consistently sold out for this event in previous years.

May – Pentecost & Spirit-Empowered Living: Preparing hearts for the Holy Spirit and the mission of the Church.

🔥 Pentecost Retreat — Memorial Day Weekend | May 23–25, 2026
Our first official retreat, aligning remembrance and renewal as we reflect on sacrifice, freedom, and the power of the Holy Spirit. For accommodations, we encourage guests to stay on-site at Thunder Canyon Campground, as being present throughout the weekend will be an important part of the retreat experience.

June – Faith, Family & Civic Responsibility: Strengthening godly leadership and preparing for faithful citizenship.

July – Freedom, Faith & National Calling us: Honoring America’s founding and stewarding freedom under God.

US Independence Day Celebration — July 4, 2026
Marking the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we are honored to host The Honor Flag Network at Thunder Canyon. The same American flag that flew above the rubble of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, will fly throughout the week as a powerful reminder of honor, sacrifice, unity, and faith. Additional events and gatherings will take place at Thunder Canyon all week long as we celebrate the foundations and freedoms of our nation.

August – Endurance, Obedience & Christian Living: Remaining faithful through discipline and trust in God.

September – Service, Work & Spiritual Growth: Living out faith faithfully in everyday life.

October – Truth, Courage & Reformation: Standing firm on God’s Word in every generation.

November – Gratitude, Remembrance & Christ the King: Thankfulness, honor, and allegiance to Christ above all.

December – Advent & Christmas: God With Us: Waiting, celebrating, and living in the light of Emmanuel.

This structure allows our devotionals, events, outreach, and content to move together—creating unity across our chapel, app, events, and online platforms.

Looking Back: What God Did in 2025 — The Year of Expansion

Beef and Bibles

In 2025, we took the ministry local with the launch of Beef & Bibles, even amid uncertainty and the threat of government shutdowns. What began as a simple act of obedience became a powerful outreach meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
Early Impact (First Two Events):
  • 2 outreach events held
  • 707 pounds of fresh beef distributed to families
  • 423 Bibles placed directly into homes
Every pound of beef and every Bible represented more than numbers—it represented families who walked away knowing they were seen, loved, and not forgotten by God.

Launch of the God Family Country App

In 2025, we launched the God Family Country App, creating a centralized home for daily devotionals, teachings, and community engagement.
Anyone, anywhere can access this platform completely free—bringing daily devotionals and Bible studies to people across the country and beyond. The content reflects the heart of the Body of Christ, featuring teachings from pastors and ministry leaders across the United States, alongside everyday believers sharing testimonies, lived faith, and relatable devotionals rooted in real life.
What began as a simple platform quickly became a daily connection point for believers seeking Scripture, encouragement, and consistency in their walk.

Foundations Laid in 2024

Compassion in Action

In response to Hurricane Helene, we partnered with local leaders and organizations to bring relief to those affected across Appalachia.
Over $60,000 raised for hurricane relief efforts
$20,000 donated directly to the City of Ider and additional monies sent to Skyland Fire Rescue to support recovery
Helped local school children afford clothing, meeting immediate family needs

Building God's House

In 2024, with little more than volunteers, faith, and God’s provision, we built our chapel: God’s House—in just 100 days.

What could not have been accomplished through human strength alone was completed through obedience, unity, and prayer.

Global Impact

Our obedience extended beyond our borders.
We partnered with World Vision to sponsor children in Africa, supporting communities in Mozambique and Zambia.
These efforts laid the foundation for a ministry rooted not only in words—but in action.

Moving Forward

God Family Country exists to glorify God, strengthen families, and steward freedom faithfully. As we move into 2026, our commitment remains the same:

Obedience over ambition. Faith over fear. Community over isolation.

We invite you to walk with us—praying, serving, and building—whatever the Lord places next before us.
